A reminder that tomorrow for the last day of term we are having a free dress day. Please bring a gold coin donation and dress in sports gear to celebrate learning about our Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds topic. All money raised will go to the Beaconsfield CFA.
Tomorrow will finish with an early dismissal at 2:30pm.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you very much for your continued support of Beaconsfield Primary School’s annual Year Book. Hundreds of students now have a growing collection of wonderful memories of their time at school.
The 2014 edition will be a celebration of students’ accomplishments. Each class will have their own page plus a half page photo. You will also see pages for each of the specialist classes, along with pages for the School Captains, Special Events plus many more. The book will be in full colour and will cost approximately $11.00.
The children will be identified only by their first name and surname initial. If you do not wish your child’s photo or work samples to be published in our Year Book, please send a letter indicating this to the principal, Mr Methven, by Monday 13th October 2014.
The order form will be sent home next term.

Today our girls footy team went to Beaconhills College in Pakenham to participate in a District Football Round Robin. All of the girls showed terrific effort and endeavour all day and ending up having two wins on the day. Goal kickers for the day were Karly (3), Bones (1), Olivia (1) and Chloe (1). A big thanks to Matt Coventry for coming along and coaching the girls. Well done girls!
On Wednesday the grade 5/6’s had their Healthy Lifestyle Incursion. The students enjoyed a great range of activities relating to physical, mental, social and emotional health. We were lucky enough to have Proactivity come in and run a rotation of fun, fitness based activities including Earthball, parachute games and boxing, to give the students a good early morning workout. The remainder of the day included brain training, relaxation and team building activities. For lunch, the students created their own healthy wrap. This brings an end to our Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds topic; where we have focused on all elements of what makes a healthy human being.
Hi guys,
Just a reminder that students need to bring a set of spare clothes for art tomorrow as they will be using paint for the lesson.
Thanks
