Just a quick note to say that there is no more homework for all classes in the 5/6 area. Students are certainly welcome to continue reading and mathletics if they wish.

A Cracking Shot by the Cricketers!
Yesterday 18 grade 5/6 girls represented our school at Regional Cricket. The Bow Bro’s played 2 games and unfortunately were eliminated, while the Braided Bandana Bunch made it all the way to the Regional Final. Unfortunately they fell 6 runs short of making it through to the State Finals at the MCG but put in a terrific effort all day. Well done to all 18 girls for their teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament

Investigations Homework Question
Research a famous game from another culture, organise a time to play it with your family. In your homework book record the equipment you needed and the instructions to play it. This might be a board game or a sport based game.
It would be great to include some photos.
