Leadership Day

Today the school captains and sports captains attended a leadership conference at the Melbourne Convention Centre. We heard from some fantastic speakers representing the Halogen Foundation. Dylan Parker, the real life paper plane world champion, spoke about trying new things which could lead to great big things. Harry Baker, the world poetry slam champion, spoke about mastering the little things in life and believing in yourself. Kate Austin, founder of Pinchapoo who ‘pinches’ and donates the little bottles of shampoo from hotels to the needy, was very inspiring. It was a great day learning from these amazing people what a true leader does to succeed.
