Please find below some information about a Performing Arts Program that Officer Secondary College will be offering for 2019. If you have applied to attend Officer Secondary College next year, and are interested in this program, please submit the below application form to them by Friday 27th July 2018.
Dear Year 6 parents and guardians,
Due to significant interest in the Performing Arts program offered at the school, Officer Secondary College is proud to announce the creation of a select entry Year 7 Performing Arts Class (PAC) for 2019. Entry into this class will be by application only, and seeks to develop student skills in Dance, Drama and Music above and beyond mainstream students.
Eligibility will be based on having demonstrated a commitment to learning Dance, Drama or Music in the past. The educational opportunities of students that join this program will not be constrained because of this choice, but will enable students to work with 24 like-minded peers on their regular subjects, and take advantage of additional Performing Arts opportunities.
We are currently seeking eligible Grade 6 students that have applied to Officer Secondary College in 2019 to submit the attached application to the school by 27th July 2018. Students that have been granted entry into the High Achievers Program do not need to apply as Performing Arts opportunities are already a part of their program.
